Wisteria Wind

Okay, I know I'm rather slow moving here lately, sorry you all! Just been very busy with first life, you know how that goes. I miss blogging, so can't imagine staying away for too long! Anyway....

This time my blog is focusing on a simply stunning outfit my friend and sis SeleneLily gave me. She is always so thoughtful and is known to shower people with gifts for no particular reason at all, except that she's an unselfish, kind, and wonderful person :) This outfit is called Wisteria Wind by Elvina Ewing and the color is to die for! My favorite color is already blue, so this is just perfection to me. As always, the details are what make the outfit so special....it contains wisteria and little butterfly adornments, along with lovely and elaborate feminine trim. The fit is just right and flows beautifully. The flowing fabric moves as you do and looks totally natural. You can also wear it in different ways as there are several pieces. ✿ prim parts (mod/copy): sculpted chest cloths decorated with wisteria vines and flowers;

The matching wreath and sandals are sold separately. Also, I added the wings from Fancy Fairy because I decided I wanted to be a faerie for a change. The outfit comes in both blue and purple.

A Collector of Mushies

Hi all!  I know it's been a long time since I've posted, and I apologize for that!  I've had alot going on in real life and have just not been able to be on like  I want to.  I'm hoping I can be more regular with my posts again *crosses fingers*.

I'd like to dedicate this post to a precious accessory I absolutely love created by Maena Tammas of Mae Fairy Tale.  First, I adore mushrooms of all sizes, shapes, and colors.  To me, they are so magical and add so much to any kind of fantasy scene you may want to create.  There are so many beautiful and different "styles" here in Second Life.  I decided to go to a sim called Calan Diva to take some pictures for this post, as they have some lovely and colorful mushrooms on display.  I dressed Natalie in a darling outfit created by Elvina Ewing called,  Huldra, then I added a new accessory designed by Maena called Shroom Backpack with Gnome.  It's exactly as it states, a backpack full of colorful mushrooms with a tiny gnome holding a lantern hanging on the side of the backpack.  It is just wonderful and so much fun!  Thus, the little Mushroom faerie starts her collection of enchanted mushrooms.....with the little gnome's help of course!  :)

Sunny April

Sunny, cheerful, colorful, spring, Easter! Just a few words that describe Elvina Ewing's April Easter outfit. This was so much fun to wear and to take pictures in. What's nice, but typical of the versatility of Elvina's designs, is that you have a choice of 2 skirts or bloomers along with 3 coordinting top choices. This design is so rich in color and comes with a beautiful head and waist wreath. The shoes are also Elvina's, but not included. Here is Elvina's list of what's included from the marketplace:

Elvina Did It Again!

Elvina Ewing of Caverna Obscura did it again with one of her newer designs called Sorcerer's Apprentice. I spotted this in her blog (listed under fantasy to the right) and....well here we are :) I think the first thing that attracted my attention was the beautiful shade of blue! Blue is my favorite color anyway, then with it applied to an elven style I've always loved (more tailored with pants), how could I go wrong? Every time I acquire one of Elvina's designs, it always looks just as good or better than in the pictures...I've never been unhappy with a single one. This one has a lovely casual and tailored look of blue velvet sprinkled with gorgeous purple jewels here and there. As do many of Elvina's designs, this outfit comes with the boots and also an apprentice belt with scrolls, potion vials, pouches and a spellbook. A delicious buy indeed!

Santa's Helper

I know I blog about Elvina Ewing's designs quite often, but you've got to admit they are fantastic and are true, fantasy styles! She has done it again with this lovely and amazing Christmas set! I actually received this outfit as a Christmas gift from none other than my beautiful and sweet friend (and sister), SeleneLily. As with all Elvina's designs, this one has many optional pieces that mix and match in green and red. It comes either red or green as the main color and includes the following:

❆ Clothing layers (no mod/copy): bodice on jacket and shirt layers; striped sweater on undershirt and shirt layers; underpants; stockings; tartan glitch pants on pants and underpants layers; alpha feet layer;

Fabulous Fur

Elvina Ewing did it again! She is truly the Queen of fantasy wear in Second Life! This amazingly gorgeous ensemble has to be one of her best yet, at least one of my favorites. It's a beautiful fur-lined armor set called Ulfhildr and can be purchased at Elvina's store, Caverna Obscura, or at the marketplace. I don't like real fur in real life, but Second Life is a different story. The outfit comes in Brown or Grey (I'm wearing the Brown) and has 29 total and optional pieces included, including the boots. There are so many different ways you can mix, match, and layer and each and every piece is intricately detailed. The fur itself is so realistic too! This is a must have for any elf or fantasy creature, plus, if you've never visited Caverna Obscura, you are missing out!

At the Cottage Boutiques: Caverna Obscura

I've decided to do a blog based on each shop we have in our Enchanted market. This time I chose Elvina Ewing's Caverna Obscura fantasy fashion store. All of Elvina's designs are amazing, full of detail, imaginative, fun and beautiful. One thing I love about them is she has so many ways you can mix and match and wear several different outfits within one. The outfit I chose today is very versatile and lovely at the same time. It's made of durable and high quality off white leather and has all the "trimmings" so to speak, including the boots! Below I've pictured several different ways to put pieces together within this outfit, but definitely not ALL possibilities.

Studio Sidhe by Faery Sola
Faery is the designer who created the wonderful unicorn pose prop you see out on Enchanted. She has several others too...like the Snow White prop, the moon, and many others that are top quality.

Elvina is one of the masters at creating true fantasy style! She has all kinds of designs that are colorful, beautiful and whimsical. You can't appreciate her work until you see it!

Elvenbreath by Selina Forder
Selina is one of my favorite fantasy designers. Her fantasy wear is lovely, classic and sexy all in one!

Each and every designer is wonderful and top notch at what they do! If you come visit the boutiques, I know you won't be able to resist spending a few Lindens while you're there :P I know I can't, and now I'm really going to have some problems, they're too convenient! hehe
