Wisteria Wind

Okay, I know I'm rather slow moving here lately, sorry you all! Just been very busy with first life, you know how that goes. I miss blogging, so can't imagine staying away for too long! Anyway....

This time my blog is focusing on a simply stunning outfit my friend and sis SeleneLily gave me. She is always so thoughtful and is known to shower people with gifts for no particular reason at all, except that she's an unselfish, kind, and wonderful person :) This outfit is called Wisteria Wind by Elvina Ewing and the color is to die for! My favorite color is already blue, so this is just perfection to me. As always, the details are what make the outfit so special....it contains wisteria and little butterfly adornments, along with lovely and elaborate feminine trim. The fit is just right and flows beautifully. The flowing fabric moves as you do and looks totally natural. You can also wear it in different ways as there are several pieces. This set includes 13 pieces in total:
✿ clothing layers (no mod/copy): top on shirt and undershirt layers; thong; long glitchpants;
✿ prim parts (mod/copy): sculpted chest cloths decorated with wisteria vines and flowers;
✿ 2 slightly different flexi prim skirts with sculpted folds decorated with wisteria vines and flowers;
✿ L & R upper leg long skirt pieces (sculpted folds & flexi prims);
✿ L & R upper leg short skirt pieces (sculpted folds & flexi prims);
✿ L & R sleeves decorated with wisteria flowers.

The matching wreath and sandals are sold separately. Also, I added the wings from Fancy Fairy because I decided I wanted to be a faerie for a change. The outfit comes in both blue and purple.

Elvina Did It Again!

Elvina Ewing of Caverna Obscura did it again with one of her newer designs called Sorcerer's Apprentice. I spotted this in her blog (listed under fantasy to the right) and....well here we are :) I think the first thing that attracted my attention was the beautiful shade of blue! Blue is my favorite color anyway, then with it applied to an elven style I've always loved (more tailored with pants), how could I go wrong? Every time I acquire one of Elvina's designs, it always looks just as good or better than in the pictures...I've never been unhappy with a single one. This one has a lovely casual and tailored look of blue velvet sprinkled with gorgeous purple jewels here and there. As do many of Elvina's designs, this outfit comes with the boots and also an apprentice belt with scrolls, potion vials, pouches and a spellbook. A delicious buy indeed!

Water Goddess

I'd like to dedicate this blog to my wonderful friend and sister, SeleneLily. She was kind enough to send me this stunning elementalist outfit as a gift! I knew right away it was one of Surreal LeShelle's designs, which are always to die for. Her store is filled with beautiful costumes of so many different styles. They are all of high quality and contain many optional pieces. This Deep Waters elementalist outfit came with the wand and also has a shape you can use if needed. It also comes with either gold or silver trim. Des Fleurs Bleu

I've been in a blue mood as of late, but also in the mood to wear blue. I've always loved Evie Miles' Ariel Fairy and finally spent some Lindens on the blue version. It's made of beautiful blue daisies and silk with several optional pieces. For example, you can wear the top and bottoms with or without the silk attachment as seen below. The outfit also comes with a head circlet and anklets. You can get this lovely, detailed outfit in purple, black, yellow, white, pink and red. Evie's colors are always vibrant and gorgeous as are her designs. Pure magic!

Nice Contrast: Blue and Black

Blue and black has always been one of my favorite color combinations. It's so striking, beautiful, and any bright color with black looks great, blue just happens to be my favorite color. Selina Forder of Elvenbreath has done it again with this sharp, lovely, and very hip ensemble. This detailed outfit comes with a black vest containing touches of faux fur, pants with small, metal discs down the side and bright blue shirt. It's a great choice for casual wear at any time and truly stands out in the crowd!

In a Blue Mood

Well, I fell off the wagon yesterday and splurged on some new clothes! My shopaholicism can't be held back for too long you know. This time I was in the mood for some new styles and every time I found something, I noticed I loved it in blue! Imagine that, my favorite color :) I also found a few fall styles and couldn't resist. I gathered my purchases and ventured off to cooler weather. It has been extra hot this summer, so I decided to spend a little time at the lake in the snowy mountains. That's what's SO nice about Second Life, we can go just about anywhere, any time, and any place we want to. Isn't it grand? Beautiful white snow, blue water and blue skies...all to go with my blue mood. Oh no, not as in sad, as in the COLOR. True BLUE :D
